Welcome to Rwanda Society, Munich/Germany
The Rwanda society in Munich was founded in autumn 2000. Our aim is to improve friendship between the people from Rwanda and Germany, but also between people from other countries.
All the activities we organise are focussed on inter-cultural learning. Which by promoting tolerance and the understanding of different cultures, their habits and customs would lead to a closer and more peaceful community.
Here in Germany we try to achieve our objectives through several activities:
- Planning and realising of cultural events like concerts, exhibitions, lectures or festivals,
- Information brokerage and consulting about projects in Rwanda, for example within the scope of trainings, postgraduate professional education or technology support,
- Maintenance of contacts to institutions which promote cultures and technologies in Germany and Rwanda,
- Public relations.
Also we support some projects and NGOs in Rwanda to facilitate a living for our friends and relatives in our home country

the victims of the genocide in Rwanda
on Saturday 12th of April 2008, at 18:00 p.m.
in the St. Bonifaz-Kirche
Karlstraße 34 in Munich.
There will be a get together in the church hall afterwards.
